In the series “Thoughts puncture within” Noga Shtainer is questioning the photography medium.
She using portraits of her daughters that she took and append to them colourful threads, pieces of glass, pins, wires and beads.
Shtainer is teasing and flirting with her kids portraits, she develop the original photo that she created to a new form and explore the influence of the new medium on her portraits pictures .
This transformations where materials and meanings are constantly shifting questioning the gap between appearance and reality, analyses contradictions, reveals what lies underneath the surface and extradites the observer, first to the truth, then to himself.
