BIID

Klaus suffers from a rare condition called BIID (Body Integrity Identity Disorder) which describes the incoherence of the physical and the felt body meaning that affected persons feel that certain parts of the body don't belong to them and want to get rid of them. Klaus wants to lose his lower right leg but due to little knowledge and acceptance about this condition he hasn't yet found a doctor who wants to legally perform this surgery on him. He fears to be stigmatized and therefore wants to remain anonymous.
